日中韓U-21交流戦・U-21日本代表－U-21中国代表＠国立

2008年の北京五輪を目指すU-21日本代表の国内初戦となる日中韓サッカーU-21代表
交流戦の中国戦に、サンフレッチェ広島からは青山敏弘選手と前田俊介選手が選出
されました。
高校時代から青山敏弘選手に注目していた僕は、彼のジャパンブルーのユニフォー
ム姿を見たかったので、なんとか仕事にケリをつけ、午後半休を取得して国立競技
場に向かいました。

青山敏弘選手は先発出場、前田俊介選手はリザーブとなりました。僕はゆったり試
合を見たいということでバックスタンドに座りじっくり見ました。青山選手は決し
て目立ちはしませんが、ボランチの位置からバランスを保ちながら、正確な長短の
パスを供給し、チャンスがあれば前線に顔を出して決定的チャンスを演出していま
した。周囲を見回しうまくチームのバランスを保っていました。
前半30分過ぎのＣＫでは、こぼれ球を拾いロングシュートを狙いますが、惜しくもGKに
はじかれました。後半33分には右サイドを中村選手とのワンツーから破りペナルティ
エリア内に侵入！DFに倒されてゴールは奪えませんでしたが、大変にキレイなプレー
でした。ロスタイムに交代するまで、よさを十分に出した印象がありました。

これまで高校時代の誤審問題や、プロ入り後の相次ぐケガ、そしてペドロヴィッチ
監督に抜擢され活躍し選出されたU-21日本代表・アウェイ中国戦、涙の負傷交代。
青山選手は数多くの不運に見舞われ、それを乗り越え、そして代表での活躍。
僕はとても感動しました。

前田選手は後半42分に途中出場。しかし、出場時間が短いうえ、終盤は中国の猛攻
にがあったためあまり目立つ動きができませんでした。しかし、ロスタイム間際に
左サイドから出したスルーパスなど、可能性を感じる動きでした。

ただ、チームとしては課題満載。平山選手の１トップ、苔口選手、本田選手の２シ
ャドーなんですが、肝心の１トップにボールが納まるとチャンスを演出できますが、
ほとんどの場合は納まらず、つまらないミスも多くチャンスを多く潰した印象があ
ります。あとは連携不足や、ビルドアップ時のつまらないパスミスなど、ミスが多
かったのも確かです。アジア大会に次ぎ、来年には北京オリンピックの予選が始ま
ります。ミスを減らしていかないと厳しい闘いとなると思います。
