2007年02月28日 北京五輪二次予選・U-22日本代表－U-22香港代表＠国立
いよいよ北京オリンピック二次予選が始まりました。
初戦は、一次予選を勝ち上がったU-22香港代表との対戦でした。僕はなんとかキ
ックオフに間に合うように国立に着いたのですが、予想以上にガラガラで少々寂
しい試合となりました。
サンフレッチェ広島から唯一選ばれた青山敏弘選手はボランチで先発出場。
先週水曜のアメリカ戦（熊本）をインフルエンザで欠場したので、心配していま
したが、ボランチで相手のキーマンをマークしながらバランスを心がけ、攻撃で
はチャンスと見るや何回もオーバーラップして、元気な姿を見せてくれました。
特に、アメリカ戦ではほとんどなかったディフェンスラインからのビルドアップ
が、青山選手を中心に出るようになっていました。また、ボランチでコンビを組
む梶山がオーバーラップできるのも、後ろでしっかりバランスを取る青山選手あ
ってのことだと思います。
途中交代となりましたが、今日これだけ動けれていたら、週末の試合ではインフ
ルエンザの影響がほとんど残っていないと思います。週末に向けて明るい収穫を
得られた試合でした。（広島サポ的、にはｗｗｗ）
しかし、チームとしては心配となることが多い試合でした。
まず、3得点とはいえ、特に前半は決定的チャンスをことごとくはずし、後半はシ
ュートで終わる意識が希薄だったことが気になりました。やはり前半は1トップ
2シャドーの三選手がすべてストライカーだったので、前への意識が強すぎ、
ボールが収まっていない印象を強く受けました。
選手個々の問題というよりは、チームとしての方針の問題だったと思います。
青山選手も談話で語っているように、後半に家長・増田というボールを引き出せ
る選手が入って、全体の押し上げがスムーズに進むようになりました。後半は徐
々によくなってきましたが、CBがビルドアップのボールを凡ミスし失うなど、最
後まで課題の残る試合でした。スコア的には快勝でしょうが、それまでの課題がほとんど解消されていない、今
後へ不安を残す試合内容でした。
