2007年、オシム監督率いる日本代表の初戦となるペルー代表戦。
サンフレッチェ広島からは駒野友一選手と佐藤寿人選手が選出されました。習志野で前日練習がありましたが、チケットを事前に確保していたので、前日練
習は泣く泣く諦め、日産スタジアムへと行きました。僕は上層スタンドでじっく
り日本代表、オシム監督のフットボールを見てみることにしました。
広島から選出された駒野友一選手は、左サイドで先発出場します。本職ではない
左サイドでの出場でしたが、素晴らしい内容だったと思います。特に前半は積極
的にスペースに走りこみ何回もチャンスを作っていました。特に、逆サイドボー
ルをためてからサイドチェンジしたとき、必ず動き出してフリーでボールを受け
ていました。これは、いつもサンフレッチェ広島で出来ているプレーでもあり、
クラブで出来ている事をそのまま発揮した、素晴らしいプレーだと思います。
僕の周りに居た人も、多くが試合が進むにつれ「駒野がイイ」ということを言うよ
うになっていたので、非常によかったのだと思います。
佐藤選手は残念ながら出場機会がありませんでした。ただ、明日のナビスコカッ
プ・千葉戦＠フクアリに出場してくれないかな、と思っています。
しかし、チームとして俯瞰した時は、出来の悪さばかりが目立つ内容でした。
何より、あれだけ左サイドから切り崩しているのに、流れから得点が入る気があ
まりしませんでした。ゴール前でのFW、MFの動きが少ないこと、単純にシュート
を撃たなかったことが原因だと思います。
そして、一人で無理に打開しようとして、周辺を使えていない選手が多かったこ
とも不満です。自分の力を示そうとしてチームプレーができなくなり、ミスをし
ボールを奪われるシーンが多いと感じました。
また、相手のプレッシャーが強くない状態でもミスを多発していることも気にな
りました。２－０とスコア上は快勝でしょうが、現地で見ていてフラストレーシ
